BE THE CHURCH

Protect the environment.  Care for the poor.

Forgive often. Reject racism.

Fight for the powerless

Share earthly and spiritual resources.

Embrace diversity. Love God. Enjoy this Life.

The theme for St. John’s UCC, Fullerton for 2019 is “Be The Church.” We will be explaining more during the upcoming months but the idea is that each of us must Be The Church. This occurs when we are together but we also go into the world where we must Be The Church. How will you Be The Church this year? How will God make a difference through the willingness of each member at St. John’s. Start visioning on how each of us can embrace this Be the Church movement.

 Ash & Dash: March 6th

7:30AM -8:30AM AND  4:00-6:00PM

Ash Wednesday we will again offer Ash & Dash. It was very well received last year and we had a lot of people participate. Pastors Becky and Michelle will be in the parking lot ready to pray with people and offer them ashes. The ashes on a forehead is the marking of a Christian who is beginning the season of Lent. Some people are not able to attend an Ash Wednesday service and so we are hoping they will be able to take advantage of this opportunity.
