In August 2015 when Dubbs Memorial UCC closed, my husband Bob and I became members of St. John's UCC, Fullerton. We have been married since 1974 and have two sons and two granddaughters. I had a successful teaching career in the Allentown School District for 33 years. I retired in 2007. Currently, I teach creative writing at Notre Dame of Bethlehem. I feel blessed to serve on the Consistory of St. John's with such an awesome congregation and Pastors.
I was born and raised in Colorado, attended college in Oklahoma and have lived in Pennsylvania most of my adult life. I taught ages 0-14 for 25 years and then ended my working career at Community Services for Children. I am currently retired. I am married and have a wonderful son, daughter-in-law and two granddaughters who are also members here. I raised my son in St. John's UCC and then returned again a few years ago and have been quite active in a number of programs and committees. I am the leader of the Lady PEEPS Women's Group, office helper and occasional photographer at events. I am honored and excited to serve God and my church on Consistory. I love St. John's and its people.
I joined St. John's September 2, 2007. It has been a wonderful experience for the growth of my faith. I am retired. I have been secretary of the Healthcare Committee since the day it began. I'm also part of the Visitation Committee. I am very active volunteering the past 14 years with three different hospices. This is my passion. I'm looking forward to Consistory and learning so much more about our church and all of you.
I was a life member of Dubbs Memorial UCC until its closing in 2015, where I served as historian. I retired as an Operation Room LPN/CST after 50 years of dedication to a remarkable career. I have been blessed with two sons and four grandchildren who always keep me happy and busy in my life and theirs. My family and I joined St. John's UCC, Fullerton because of its friendly, compassionte and caring congregation and pastors. It is with great joy that I look forward to serving this church.

Having been born in Austria, I was almost 5 years old when I came to America in 1950 with my parents. I served with the U.S. Army and in Vietnam. After 31 years as Territory and District Manager, I retired from Ecolab, Inc. and now work part-time for two catering companies. My wife, Carol and I will be married for 48 years and have two sons, Michael and Josef. Upon transferring from Dubbs Memorial UCC, I joined the Friendship Bible Class, Adult Choir, Consistory and Personnel Committee at St. John's. My hobbies include model railroading, collecting Pez Candy dispensers, and spending time at our cabin near Schuylkill Haven.
I was born and raised in the wilds of Southern Virginia, then attended college in North Carolina. There I met DonnaLee, and she dragged me to the Lehigh Valley to live. She also insisted I attend the church she had attended since she was little. Fortunately, the UCC was the denomination for me, and St. John’s was a welcoming congregation. I work for an insurance company (but don’t hold that against me) Since DonnaLee and I do not have kids, obviously they go to Disney World. A lot.
